Job summary

HonorHealth Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Evening shift Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and care coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Prior ER experience is preferred and a sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates. Requirements include an active RN license, BSN completion within 60 months if ADN/ diploma holder or 5+ years RN experience, and BLS

Qualifications

• Required: Associates or Diploma in Nursing.
• All Diploma and ADN hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire OR have 5 or more years of RN experience at the time of hire.
• Arizona nursing license (or compact state licensure) upon hire; license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; unit-specific certification as required by specialty area.
• Preferred: Prior ER RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, document history and symptoms.
• Assist with diagnostics, administer medications and IV therapy.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and follow up care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
