Job summary

HonorHealth is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time evening shift position offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for eligible candidates and requires strong ER nursing experience and a BSN or willingness to obtain one within 60 months.

Performs comprehensive nursing care, coordinates with a multidisciplinary team, and provides patient and family education while adhering to ANA standards and hospital policy.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Arizona or compact state).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1 year RN experience in med-surg or acute setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition; coordinate care with the team.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies per policy.
• Develop and revise patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, meds, and post-discharge needs.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes.
• Support precepting and mentorship for new staff and students.
