Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Night shift in the Emergency Department at Shea Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The RN applies ANA standards, administers medications, and coordinates care with a multidisciplinary team to support rapid assessment and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and families on discharge and self-care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona or compact state.
• BLS certification required, unit-specific certifications as required by specialty area.
• BSN preferred; associates or diploma required with BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Monitor patient progress and document observations.
• Educate patients and families on care, discharge, and home care needs.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, evidence-based care.
