Job summary

HonorHealth seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The full-time shift is 1200–0030 with a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 for eligible candidates.

Ideal candidates have ER RN experience and hold an AZ license with BLS certification. The role requires strong assessment, medication administration, and patient education skills to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

• RN must have a valid Arizona license or compact license and obtain AZ licensure within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required; unit-specific certification may be required by specialty area.
• Experience: >10 months med-surg or acute care; 1 year RN experience for float positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care guided by ANA standards and ethics, including history, exams, tests, medications, and care plans.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor patient response; ensure safe dosing and interactions.
• Educate patients and families on home care, diet, exercise, and self-management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based nursing care.
• Document care plans, progress, and communicate changes to physicians and team.

Education

BSN within 60 months OR 5+ years RN experience

Associate's or Diploma in Nursing

BSN preferred
