Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse on a full-time day swing shift in Pittsburgh. The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care in a small-format hospital setting.

Required are an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and 2+ years ER or equivalent experience, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Sign-on bonus of $30,000 is offered along with shift differentials and parking benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years full-time RN experience in ER or similar setting.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room.
• Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
