Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in the Pittsburgh area. This Part-Time position (2/12 hr shifts per week) offers a Day Shift schedule and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role focuses on assessing, planning, directing and evaluating patient care in the ER, with age-appropriate nursing care. Requirements include 2+ years ER experience and a PA RN license, with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Minimum 2+ years ER or equivalent experience
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and provide age-specific nursing care in ER.
• Complete accurate documentation of patient records.
• Observe and record vital signs, symptoms and behaviors.
• Follow physician orders and implement interventions.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers as needed.
