Job summary

AHN Neighborhood Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7 PM–7 AM). You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER, providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

A $30,000 sign-on bonus is offered along with night/weekend shift differentials and free parking. Required qualifications include PA RN licensure, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; ENPC

Qualifications

• RN license active in PA with no sanctions.
• 2+ years ER nursing experience required.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; ENPC may substitute for PALS; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age- and developmentally appropriate nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of nursing care.
• Perform admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Adhere to infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare equipment for procedures and assist others.
