Job summary

Emerus is seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time mids/night swing shift at a small-format hospital in Greensburg, PA. The RN will assess and care for patients, document thoroughly, and follow physician orders with a focus on safety and privacy.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred), current PA RN licensure, 2+ years in ER, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS. Act 33/73 clearances required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• English language proficiency for patient care and documentation.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed or obtainable before start.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately in medical records and ensure privacy.
• Follow physician orders and assist with diagnostics/treatments.
• Maintain infection control and aseptic technique.
• Manage admissions, transfers and discharges as needed.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
