Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a full-time, day swing shift at the Brentwood location in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate ER patient care, focusing on age-appropriate nursing care and thorough documentation.

Required: Associate’s degree, PA RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS/ACLS/PALS; English fluency. Sign-on bonus $30,000, shift differentials, 401(k) match, and more benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN licensure in good standing.
• 2+ years ER RN experience or comparable.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications current; TNCC preferred.
• Fluency in English; strong communication.
• Act 33/Act 73 clearances completed within 5 years or before start.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate ER nursing care.
• Document medical records accurately and legibly.
• Observe and record patient signs, symptoms, and status.
• Follow physician orders in delivering care.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Prepare equipment and assist procedures; adhere to policies.
