Job summary

Emerus is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a part-time, day swing shift at our Harmar facility in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess, plan, and direct patient care in the ER with a focus on safety and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years ER nursing, active PA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and the ability to work day or swing shifts. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, and a 401K match enhances long-term benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree is required; BSN preferred.
• Current PA RN licensure without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or comparable experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation of patient records.
• Observe and document signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders and perform procedures as directed.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
