Job summary

Backus Hospital's Emergency Department in Plainfield, CT, part of Hartford HealthCare, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 11p-7a night shift. The ED unit is a free standing 12-bed area providing care across ages with modern monitoring and EHR systems.

Nurses work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications include nursing Graduation with BSN preferred and a CT RN license in good standing; ACLS, TNCC, PALS, CPI certifications should be obtained

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with BSN preferred.
• CT RN license in good standing required? (implied)
• Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a collaborative ED environment.
• Utilize nursing process to develop and implement care plans.
• Demonstrate competency in critical care scenarios and emergency procedures.
