Job summary

Tenet-AZ Region in Tucson, AZ seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) ED - Emergency Department Lead for night shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to care plans and discharge planning.

The role emphasizes patient safety, timely documentation, and effective communication with physicians and families. A minimum of 1 year RN ED experience and AZ licensure are required; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Valid AZ nursing license or compact state license with ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and care plans.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient status.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for well-coordinated patient care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders and coordinate discharge planning.
• Ensure patient safety, administer medications, and document care.
• Assist with care coordination, delegation, and supervision as needed.
