Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department for night shift coverage. The RN provides patient-centered care, supports physicians and the team, and ensures safety and quality in a Level III Trauma setting.

Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required or in progress. We offer competitive benefits, tuition and licensure reimbursement, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible, experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing required.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 0-2 years clinical nursing experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and maintain patient safety.
• Document care in the medical record and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in performance improvement and compliance activities.
