Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• 1+ years of ED RN experience preferred
• RN license and state licensure requirements must be met
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or as per unit guidelines

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with the care team
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions (CPR/code team)
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
• Ensure infection control protocols and safe operation of medical equipment
