Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required at hire.
• At least 1 year RN experience required at hire.
• Texas RN license required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: admission and ongoing assessment, provide comprehensive nursing care.
• Planning: design, direct, evaluate care plan and family teaching.
• Implementation: prepare patients for treatments and notify changes to team.
• Evaluation: reassess after interventions and adjust care as needed.
• Report Skills: bedside shift reports and continuity of care.
• Environment & Patient Safety: maintain safe space and report hazards.
