Job summary

Emerus is seeking a skilled Emergency Room RN for a Full-Time Nights shift (7PM-7AM) at our 20-bed small-format hospital in Pennsylvania. You will assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety and compassionate service.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, monitoring vital signs, following physician orders, collecting specimens, and maintaining infection control. We offer a $20,000 sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, required; BSN preferred.
• Current PA RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; ENPC substitution; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency (spoken and written).
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care in the ER.
• Document medical records accurately and concisely.
• Monitor signs, symptoms and patient status.
• Follow physician orders in the delivery of care.
• Collect lab samples and perform tests per policies.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures.
