Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS certification is required for every RN; ACLS and unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to patient age group.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
