Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, from admission to discharge, in alignment with established standards. This non-exempt, night-shift role offers a 36-hour week with a 12-hour shift pattern and a potential signing bonus.

Final offers depend on scheduled hours, experience, and internal equity. MA RN licensure is required, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as specified; a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required in select areas within 6 months.
• PALS certification required in select areas within 6 months.
• NRP Advanced Provider required in select areas within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately according to job description and competency.
