Responsibilities

• Register patients in the EMR with accurate demographic and insurance data.
• Obtain and file consent forms, ensure documents are scanned and stored.
• Prepare service estimates and arrange/payment plans; process cash collections.
• Coordinate with Bed Control for timely bed placement and patient movement.
• Escort patients to rooms and monitor timely progression from registration to admission.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and verify patient identity per procedures.
