Job summary

Backus Hospital's Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in Plainfield, CT. The RN will provide patient-centered care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, applying evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop and execute individualized care plans.

The role requires a CT RN license, BLS, and 1 year of critical care experience, with certifications in ACLS/TNCC/PALS/CPI obtainable within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 year of critical care RN experience required.
• BLS required; ability to obtain ACLS, TNCC, PALS, CPI certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Current unrestricted Connecticut RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Apply evidence-based practices and nursing process to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care and high patient satisfaction.
