Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year critical care RN experience required.
• BLS required. ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and CPI certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain administration of moderate sedation within 9 months of hire.
• Current unrestricted License in good standing to practice as an RN in Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the direction of the Nurse Manager using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and execute care plans using the nursing process to meet physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient care and positive patient experiences.
