Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year of critical care RN experience required.
• BLS required. Ability to obtain ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and CPI certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to obtain administration of moderate sedation within 9 months of hire.
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Connecticut.
• Certified Emergency Nurse, Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse, or NRP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the Nurse Manager supervision, using evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of patients and families.
