Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking an experienced registered nurse for care delivery in a busy Emergency Room setting in Massachusetts. The role requires current MA nursing licensure and BLS, with BSN preferred; ACLS certification is also important for certain units.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate discharge, and document care while collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, delivery and management of direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate nursing care within the assigned clinical setting.
• Document patient care and ensure quality and continuity of care.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
