Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• ACLS certification required in select areas.
• PALS certification required in select areas (within 6 months).
• NRP Advanced Provider certification required in select areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge, appropriate to patient age.
• Perform patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Develop and coordinate individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Direct and supervise nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Document patient care and education plans.
• Participate in quality improvement and nursing governance activities.
