Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an RN for a per diem role in the Emergency Department. The position requires Massachusetts nursing licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP where applicable. Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required for every RN.
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required in select areas and within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing Process to deliver and manage patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment as per standard procedures.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans and discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Documents patient care per procedures and maintains education plans for patients and families.
• Supports quality improvement and governance activities and professional growth.
