Qualifikationen

• High School/GED or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• TNCC certification within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC recommended within 12 months of hire.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with patients, families and staff.

Aufgaben

• Promote the ED mission and values in daily patient care and interactions.
• Provide planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the ED during critical periods.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and respond to medical/surgical emergencies.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with Texas Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Maintain professional competence through continuing education and training.
• Demonstrate effective time management, equipment usage and teamwork in ED operations.
