DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a mid-shift 3:3 schedule (3:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.) in the Emergency Department. This role requires strong nursing skills, bilingual awareness, and a patient-centered approach to care.

You will monitor patients, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with physicians to ensure outstanding outcomes. The position emphasizes adherence to the Nurse Practice Act, continued professional development, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Texas RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
• TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC recommended within 12 months of hire.
• Must read/write/speak English.

Responsabilités

• Performs thorough ED patient assessment prior to discharge of the patient.
• Adheres to hospital/unit policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines.
• Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the patient and physician.
• Demonstrates ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.
• Supports and promotes excellence in customer/guest relations.
• Supports and promotes the organization’s Infection Control Program.
• Supports and promotes the organization’s Safety Program.
• Supports and promotes the organization’s Risk Management Program.
