Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas required.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS required after three (3) months of hire.
• Willingness to be trained for charge nurse.
• Willingness to become a preceptor after two years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care following the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Administer medications and therapies per facility policies and physician orders.
• Supervise and guide non-licensed staff; participate in unit-based councils and committees.
• Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.
