Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• RN responsibilities in the Emergency Department with assessment and care planning.
• Perform assessments appropriate to the patient presentation, setting, age, and cultural needs.
• Document and communicate patient status and changes with the care team.
