Job summary

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma
• RN in acute care environment is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• TNCC required within 1 year
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1+ years experience PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements.
• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management with reassessments after interventions.
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow‑ups, using clear explanations.
