Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS within 60 days of employment start date
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS within 60 days of employment start date
• Associate degree required
• (APRN) or (RN) licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care team.
• Advocates for patients/families/caregivers and models organizational values.
• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management.
• Documents nursing care in the patient record promptly and completely.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Educates patients/families/caregivers about medical conditions, treatments, medications and follow-up measures.
• Provides guidance on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management after discharge.
