Job summary

Henry Ford Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse - Regional Float to support clinical operations across Henry Ford Health by floating to multiple units. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and adapt quickly to changing environments within the float pool.

Shifts include midnights on a contingent basis (24 hours per month). Must hold a Michigan RN license with current BLS, ACLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications and a degree from an accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two years of recent nursing experience in emergency department.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within the health system.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across the unit, developing and evaluating individualized nursing care plans.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate flexibility by orienting to different units within the float pool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and interventions per standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to support quality improvement and safe care.
• Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled.
