Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Emergency Department RN to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes accurate assessments, timely care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds a CA RN license, with 1+ year ED or critical care experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. NIHSS training within 5 days is required, CPI within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• One year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments appropriate to the patient's clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Perform assessments completely and accurately including pain, skin integrity, falls risk, cognition, and other patient needs.
