Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive assessments and deliver high-quality patient care. You will evaluate physical, psychological, and social needs while coordinating with the ED team to ensure timely treatment.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, current CA RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

• One year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in the ED according to presentation, age and cultural needs.
• Perform timely and accurate physical, psychological and social assessments.
