Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA is seeking an Emergency Department RN to provide timely assessments and comprehensive care aligned with patient needs. The role requires an active California RN license and 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute facility.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• RN – Emergency Dept. performs assessments appropriate to patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including physical (pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (cognitive/communication), social status, and other patient needs.
