Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking an RN to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge. You will assess patients, develop and coordinate plans of care, supervise care activities and document outcomes.

The schedule features 3 evenings per week (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with every other weekend and holiday. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for external hires; MA nursing licensure and BLS are required, ACLS preferred or current.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration required.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS certification is current.
• Preferred: BSN and unit-specific certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and manage direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Assess, reassess and develop a care plan including discharge planning.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care within the assigned unit and document care.
• Administer medications, support treatments and collaborate with the healthcare team.
