Job summary

The Baptist Health System– Emerus ER position in Converse, TX is a day shift RN role focused on assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in the Emergency Department. You will work as part of a team delivering age-specific nursing care, documentation, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

Candidates should hold an associate degree (BSN preferred), an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with English fluency and strong communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions.
• 2+ years RN ER or equivalent experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• English fluency in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate patient care in the ER.
• Document accurately and legibly in medical records.
• Observe, record signs and movements; adjust interventions.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Prepare equipment and assist with procedures as needed.
