Job summary

GuideWell Emergency Doctors seeks an experienced ER Physician to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform H&P, physical exams, interpret tests, and develop treatment plans for patients of all ages.

The role emphasizes efficient patient flow, collaboration with mid-level providers, and seamless follow-up arrangements within our network. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of ER experience, an active Florida MD/DO license, board certification in Emergency Medicine, DEA

Qualifications

Five or more years’ recent experience in an Emergency Room setting.
Must hold an MD or DO license and be board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Active DEA license and ACLS certification required.
Florida medical license must be clear and active.
Ability to pass Level 2 background screen and drug test.

Responsibilities

Accurately treat patients of all ages with mild to moderate medical complaints.
Perform H&P and physical exams; interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
Write prescriptions and perform typical emergency room procedures.
Coordinate follow-up care within the facility or with specialists.
Support mid-level providers during shifts and maintain targets for door-to-provider times.
