MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the emergency department team. You will provide direct patient care under supervision, assist with ADLs, vitals, specimen collection, and airway support for patients with acute needs.

Responsibilities include documenting in the health record, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant certification program required.
• CNA certification required; CPR within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care under supervision of nursing/medical staff and according to policy.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Performs venipuncture/phlebotomy, collects specimens, obtains EKGs, and inspects IV sites.
