Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking staff to support the admission process for inpatients and outpatients in the Emergency Department. This role requires CNA certification and credentialing in EMR/EMT/CRT/Paramedic programs, with CPR on hand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited CNA program.
• Graduate from an EMR/EMT/CRT/Paramedic program.
• Current and valid CNA license.
• Current and valid EMR/EMT/CRT/Paramedic.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum one year hospital or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission of inpatients and outpatients in ED.
• Escort patients to ED from waiting room and to radiology areas as needed.
• Replenish clinical supplies and check clinical carts.
• Promote efficient flow in a multi-unit environment.
