Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff on our Highland Park Hospital unit. Under RN/LPN guidance, you will perform essential patient care tasks to ensure comfort, safety, and timely care delivery.

The role emphasizes patient interaction, safe handling, ADLs, and coordination during admissions and discharges. Requires CNA training or clinical rotation experience and BLS certification; 24-hour schedule options are available.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; answer calls and assist as needed.
• Assist in safe patient handling, transfers, and ambulation under RN/LPN supervision.
• Provide basic nursing care (ADLs) and respond to patient needs and call lights.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and room orientations.
• Document activities and notify nursing staff of changes in patient condition.
• Support nursing team with equipment, restocking, and basic unit duties.
