Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Emergency Department-Night shift at Highland Park Hospital. This full-time role covers an evening schedule (11am-11:30pm) with rotating weekends, supporting patient care and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible candidates must be US-based, with CNA training and clinical rotation preferred, and current BLS certification or obtainable within 90 days. Strong teamwork and basic computer skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and the ability to prioritize and follow directions.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support flow of work and duties with attention and manual dexterity as needed.
• Assess patients visually and read/record charts.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team, including those wearing masks.
• Possibility of exposure to blood and other hazards; follow safety protocols.
• Work under pressure to meet patient care needs.
• Assist with patient movement using equipment for non-emergency transfers; may lift up to 50 pounds.
• Wear PPE such as N95/PAPR as applicable.
• Sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
