Job summary

Great River Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department in Fort Madison, IA. This part-time role supports 24 hours per week with a schedule of 6:00pm–6:30am and every third weekend rotation.

The CNA provides basic patient care under a licensed nurse, assisting with daily living activities and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.
• Iowa CNA or recent CNA course with passing test within 4 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Provides personal care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Works with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
