Job summary

GuideWell Emergency Doctors is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support a high-quality, efficiency-driven medical team. The role mirrors an Emergency Room Tech in the ED, delivering patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will work with the team, manage patient records, and assist with triage and discharge processes. Required English at an advanced level; Spanish and Creole are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BLS certified is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in fast track, med/surg and critical care settings.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer systems.
• Provide professional, courteous patient interactions and support.
• Coordinate with front staff and radiology; manage patient tracking.
• Complete required proficiency testing and drug screening as directed.
• Follow organizational policies and information security procedures.
