Job summary

Guidewell-Emergency-Doctors is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join a fast-paced medical team. The PCC delivers patient care across fast track, med/surg and critical care, supports patient experiences, and assists in ER-type procedures and triage.

Responsibilities include inputting discharge instructions, managing the patient tracking system, performing basic EKGs, wound care, and documenting with computer software while adhering to security policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a variety of patients in fast track, med/surg and critical care.
• Perform EKGs and basic cardiac monitoring with recognition of arrhythmias.
• Assist in procedures and triage/discharge of patients of all ages.
• Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into computer systems.
• Manage patient tracking system and communicate with team members.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to security policies.
