Job summary

GuideWell Emergency Doctors is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join a fast-paced ED team in Orlando. The PCC supports patient flow, triage, and discharge processes, aligning with ER tech duties to create a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, basic medical knowledge, and the ability to work 9am-7pm on weekdays with some weekend coverage. A BLS certification is preferred; a high school diploma is required, and no extensive travel is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year healthcare or ER support experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across fast track, med/surg and critical care settings.
• Perform basic wound care and splinting.
• Conduct EKGs and cardiac monitoring.
• Assist in procedures setup.
• Accurately input discharge instructions and prescriptions.
• Manage patient tracking and communications.
• Follow procedures and complete required checklists.
