Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Patient Access Representative in a Hospital, ER, or Clinic.
• Experience with medical registration, admitting, and scheduling in an ER setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and guests with a cheerful demeanor; determine needed services and direct patients accordingly; collect demographic information and obtain signatures for billing.
• Financial Responsibilities: Collect payments for co-pays and balances; maintain a daily ledger and reconcile patient accounts.
• Facility Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the facility.
• Communication Skills: Interact courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff; uphold core values.
• Professional Development: Attend monthly staff meetings and engage in performance improvement activities.
• Other Duties: Assist management with additional tasks or projects as assigned.
