Job summary

Complete Care ER in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for full-time nights (7 pm–7 am) at our Camp Bowie location. You will welcome patients, perform registration, insurance verification, and front desk duties, serving as the first point of contact in our freestanding ER.

The role requires 1–2 years in medical insurance verification, 2–3 years in medical customer service or front desk, EMR/EPM proficiency, BLS within 60 days, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of medical insurance verification experience.
• 2–3 years of medical customer service or front desk experience.
• Experience with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within sixty days.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be flexible for night weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and complete check in, registration, and front desk duties
• Complete medical insurance verification, eligibility checks, and demographic entry
• Communicate with patients and families during high stress situations
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR or EPM system
• Coordinate paperwork and collaborate with clinical teams for smooth patient flow
• Manage phone calls, patient questions, and follow up needs
• Maintain a professional, organized front desk environment
