Complete Care ER in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the Emergency Room on a full-time night shift. You will welcome patients, register them, verify insurance, and enter demographic data while maintaining calm communication during high-stress situations.

This frontline role requires EMR/EPM experience, MS Office proficiency, and a clear ability to coordinate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow. BLS within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical insurance verification experience.
• Two to three years of medical customer service or front desk experience.
• Experience with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within sixty days.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be flexible for night weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced emergency room environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Shifts: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
Shift Commitment: Must be able to work night shifts.

Pay Rate: Basedon Experience plus Shift Differentials

This role supports patient registration, insurance verification, and medical front desk operations .You will be the first point of contact for patients seeking emergency care, and your work directly impacts patient experience and care quality.
