Job summary

Complete Care ER in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our growing team on a PRN nights schedule (7pm–7am). You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect paperwork, and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth access to care.

The role requires 1–2 years of medical insurance verification and 2–3 years of healthcare customer service, MS Office and EMR/EPM experience, and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Medical Insurance verification experience.
• 2–3 years of Customer Service experience in the medical field.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association within sixty (60) days from start date.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with MS Office, EMR/EPM systems.
• Must be flexible with schedule; including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in-person and over the phone, registrations, and inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information accurately.
• Provide strong phone and verbal communication skills with active listening.
• Collect necessary paperwork and coordinate with departments for patient care.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve patient questions or issues.
